The creation of a powerful identity for an emerging record label of Techno music
Venice Academy of Fine Arts Bachelor's thesis Professors Stefano Marotta and Roberto Russo AY 2018/2019 Goals Define the market positioning, build a systematic visual identity, increase the popularity Concept Autektone Records is a record label of Techno music. It extends with another sub-label: Autektone Dark, which releases Hard Techno tracks. The project involves artists that use dirty, scratchy and sharp sounds. The visual identity enhances these characteristics. For instance, the logo has an accent on the “K” letter which cuts the pronunciation and rips the letters. The visuals play with glitch-based shapes suggesting something that gets smashed. “This music breaks everything, even the image on the cover”
